The achievement of the goals of the Starr Library is best achieved by the active participation of the citizens of the community. To this end, we accept and encourage the involvement of volunteers at all levels of the organization and within all programs and activities.
We need help with such things as planning/hosting programs, keeping our shelves in order, staffing book sales, circulating books, teaching senior citizens about the Internet and gardening.
For students in need of community service to complete academic requirements, we may be able to assist.
To find out about becoming a volunteer, please stop in or contact Director Steven Cook at 845.876.4030.
